Education & CERTIFICATIONS: B.S. (Kinesiology) University of Illinois at Chicago (Exercise & Fitness Concentration), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT)-Lower Extremity

Being active all his life, Phil knew that being healthy was the optimal way to live life at a young age. This former three sport athlete developed a passion for fitness when he ran track in college. He knew personal training was the route he wanted to take early on to give the gift of good health. Since 2003, Phil has been working closely with clients to create positive changes in lifestyle habits through nutrition, resistance training programs and cardiovascular. He has worked at commercial gyms, wellness centers, physical therapy facilities, private gyms, and worked with cancer patients too. He is a NASM certified personal trainer, group fitness, physical therapy aide, and muscle activation technique practitioner. He analyzes current fitness levels and abilities, evaluates diet and provides a plan for success. He emphasizes long-term sustainable changes and development of healthy habits that can be applied to every-day life.
